In the first half of the film, Yuvraj Singh’s teen character was so much like him that we had to look twice to believe that he wasn’t the real Yuvi. However, MS Dhoni’s mid teenage was played by Sushant Singh Rajput which was not right! Rajput is an amazingly talented actor and for a moment we forgot that he wasn’t the real Dhoni in the film but hey, that long sequence of him playing the young Dhoni when he was playing in an inter-school cricket match was not fitting well. His face was squeezed to make him look younger and that thin body was definitely not of Rajput. Come on, we all know how Rajput looks in real life and editing his face in a way to make him look 15 years younger wasn’t very clever. We wish the makers of the film had thought this through.
But hats off to the VFX who did a great job with the body and face editing throughout the film.
